Huntingdale Golf Club is widely regarded as one of Australia’s most iconic golfing venues. Since 1979, it has welcomed many of the biggest names in global golf, including Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, Seve Ballesteros, Greg Norman, Nick Faldo, Adam Scott, Geoff Ogilvy, and Tiger Woods.
In 2015, the club celebrated hosting the Australian Masters a record 31 times, cementing its reputation as the official “Home of the Australian Masters.”
Huntingdale features superbly manicured fairways, tactical bunkering, and large undulating greens, offering a true Sandbelt challenge for players at every level. Its greens are renowned for being true and fast, often maintained in Masters‑level condition throughout the year, demanding accurate approaches and confident putting.
The final holes at Huntingdale are considered among the finest and most difficult finishing stretches in world golf — a fitting test for championship play.

Signature Holes
8th Hole — Par 4
(314m Men / 263m Women)
A classic risk‑reward par 4. Players may attack with driver to set up a short approach or lay up safely with a rescue or iron. Staying on the right half of the fairway is essential to avoid bunkering. The green is challenging — avoid the right greenside bunker to prevent a difficult recovery.
12th Hole — Par 3
(161m Men / 124m Women)
A deeply bunkered par 3 requiring precise distance control. The long, narrow green demands focus on both club selection and accuracy, with wind adding another layer of challenge. Surrounded entirely by bunkers, par here is an earned and satisfying result.
18th Hole — Par 4
(410m Men / 325m Women)
A formidable finishing hole framed by hazards. The tee shot must avoid fairway bunkering left and scrub to the right. A deceptive cross bunker protects the approach, while swales and hollows around the green demand accuracy and touch. A par here is worthy of a champion.
